In addition, the 2025 Atlas Cross Sport has a longer wheelbase and more front and rear seat legroom than the Passport. That translates into a smoother ride and more comfort for all passengers.  

The cargo space is generous for its size class. It starts with 40.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats, and with the rear seats folded down, that space expands to 77.6 cubic feet.  

You also have a wider range of trim levels on the 2025 Atlas Cross Sport with a choice of front- or 4Motion all-wheel drive.  

In summary, KBB states that “[t]he 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport is a fresher package with its recent update, including nicer materials, a bigger infotainment screen, and high-end creature comforts. It gets better fuel economy, and a generous basic warranty is a plus. All told, the Atlas Cross Sport is a fine choice if you’re looking for space, style, and a touch of luxury.”
