2025 Volkswagen Taos vs The Competition

The redesigned 2025 Volkswagen Taos was developed with German engineering and knowhow to provide an elevated experience in the small SUV segment. It starts with a more powerful turbocharged 1.5-liter engine, connected to a proven eight-speed automatic transmission and a choice of front-wheel or 4Motion all-wheel drive. It offers comfortable seating for up to five people, protected by the latest driver assistance and safety technology. It is a seriously fun ride. How does our Volkswagen Taos compete against the competition?

2025 Volkswagen Taos vs the Chevrolet Kicks

The Volkswagen is also rated at 31 mpg for combined city/highway driving, compared to the Trax’s 29 mpg. With 4Motion all-wheel drive, the Taos is rated higher on the highway at 33 mpg.
