The all-electric 2021 and 2022 ID.4 received A’s in every category of the car seat inspection. Known for its spacious interior, the ID.4 offers a roomy back seat while leaving ample legroom for the driver and front passenger. Although the lower anchors are challenging to locate in other cars, the safety technicians easily accessed the ID.4’s metal loops.

When assessing safety, the 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan is a winner. In addition to acing the Car Seat Check for the second time, the Tiguan also received the Top Safety Pick award for the third consecutive year.
