Back in the late 1990s, Volkswagen ran a great advertising campaign looking for drivers. The “Drivers Wanted” slogan fits the mission of every model we offer – a driver-focused vehicle that fits your lifestyle.  

That was a time when the New Beetle brought fun-loving and nostalgic people back to Volkswagen. It was also a time when an open-top model was available, along with a lineup of fun and exciting Golf, Jetta, and Passat models. 

Today, Volkswagen continues to offer a lineup of driver-focused models that has since expanded to SUVs and electric vehicles. One thing has not changed – the sign. This year marks the return of the “Drivers Wanted” slogan.  

It starts with an invitation. Your fun-loving friends pull up in a Tiguan or ID.Buzz, ready to go on a road trip, to the game, Country Club Plaza, Power & Light District, 18th & Vine – you name it! You can bring your out-of-town friends to sample our best barbecue or take an excursion deep into the Ozarks.

The latest commercials seen on television and on streaming services show you how an invitation becomes enthusiasm. There’s plenty to be enthusiastic about these days. The award-winning 2026 Golf GTI and Golf R continue a 50-year tradition of combining “hot hatch” performance with practicality. The 2026 Jetta and Jetta GLI give you more than a trunk to enjoy the wonders of German engineering with a fun-to-drive vibe.  

Our SUV lineup offers the power of choice for what you need for you and your family. From the small 2026 Taos to the large three-row 2026 Atlas, every SUV is designed to be a Volkswagen. Space is always plentiful in the 2026 Tiguan and Atlas Cross Sport for you and a few friends to roam across the country.  

Volkswagen is also known for its electric vehicle technology. The 2026 ID.4 SUV and the 2025 ID. Buzz three-row minivan are two examples of how drivers engage with our vehicles and their passengers without using one drop of fuel.
