Every 2026 Atlas is equipped with a common mechanical specification. The 269-horsepower 2.0-liter engine also puts down 273 lb-ft of torque. This power is channeled through an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to either the front wheels or the 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system. You can also tow up to 5,000 pounds when properly equipped. 

The standard features list continues across all five trim levels, including LED headlights with Adaptive Front Lighting System, the IQ.DRIVE suite of driver assistance features, heated and ventilated front seats, five-door keyless access for all doors and the liftgate, Climatronic® three-zone automatic climate control, a 12-inch center display, a seat belt warning for rear seats and wireless charging for compatible devices.  

Going through each trim, the Atlas SE model is far from “basic.” It starts with a set of 18-inch alloy wheels and V-Tex leatherette upholstery. In all, this is a feature-rich gateway model offering great value for families.  

The next step up is the Atlas SE with Technology package. It adds more value to the SE model with more features focused on expanded convenience for passengers. Upgraded features include 20-inch machined alloy wheels w/all-season tires, the front grille with integrated light bar, front and rear exterior illuminated emblem, remote start, Hands-free Easy Open/Close remote power rear liftgate, front and rear Park Distance Control, a trailer hitch, a 115-volt power outlet, a sunroof, and a rearview mirror with integrated HomeLink.  

If adventure is what you’re looking for in a 2026 Atlas, the Peak Edition model is your ideal choice. Equipped with all-terrain tires on 18-inch alloy wheels, it gives off a rugged off-road vibe. That is seen with a specific front bumper and grille texture, along with special badges and trim. The Peak Edition also adds a panoramic roof for a glimpse at the sky above.  

Luxury takes center stage, starting with the SEL model. Wearing standard leather upholstery, the list of amenities grows further with standard 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat with adjustable lumbar and programmable memory, an 8-way power adjustable front passenger seat and heated first- and second-row outboard seats. The features list continues with a head-up display, multi-color adjustable ambient lighting, Discover Pro: 12″ touchscreen navigation, and Dynamic Road Sign Display. The finishing touch is a set of 20-inch machined alloy wheels with all-season tires. 

At the top of the line is the SEL Premium R-Line, combining luxury with a sporty appearance. The wheels are upgraded to a set of 21-inch machined alloy wheels with all-season tires. This is complemented by the upgraded R-Line exterior styling, Inside, you are treated to Perforated Vienna leather seating surfaces with perforated head restraints, massaging front seats with four-way lumbar support, and stainless-steel pedal caps and foot rest. The SE Premium R-Line also adds a Harman Kardon premium audio system and an Overhead View Camera for the center display.
