Volkswagen Offers 2024 Tiguan Wolfsburg Edition
Volkswagen’s best-selling model, the Tiguan, uses German engineering to combine a fun-to-drive character with versatility and a spacious interior. The Tiguan is the brand’s middle child in Volkswagen’s SUV lineup, positioned as larger in size compared to the Taos, but smaller than the Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport. Bud Brown Volkswagen is happy to announce that to celebrate the end of the current successful Tiguan design, Volkswagen has created the 2024 Tiguan Wolfsburg Edition.
Named after the hometown of Volkswagen’s global headquarters, the Tiguan Wolfsburg Edition is based on the SE trim with added features and designed details. Starting with the exterior, the Wolfsburg features bespoke 18-inch wheels with a machine-finished five-spoke design and a 10-spoke black background to create a striking appearance. Additional brightwork is found in the chrome door, bumper inserts, and a chrome Bumperdillo® (top-mounted protection plate). This is combined with silver mirror caps and front bumper accents, a black window surround, and black and silver Wolfsburg badging.
A limited set of exterior colors will adorn the Wolfsburg Edition, including Atlantic Blue, Deep Black Pearl, Platinum Grey, and Pure White.
The Tiguan Wolfsburg Edition cabin will feature Titan Black leatherette interior, with contrast Snap Orange stitching, which serves as an homage to the popular Habanero Orange color that served as the hero color when the second-generation Tiguan had its debut. Wolfsburg Edition also adds unique interior details, including illuminated scuff plates and the 30-color LED ambient lighting, which has previously been an exclusive of the R-Line® trims in the Tiguan lineup.
These features are added to the standard SE trim complement, which includes:
- Remote start
- KESSY® keyless access and push-button start
- Power tailgate
- Volkswagen Digital Cockpit,
- 8-inch Composition Media infotainment with wireless App-Connect
- SiriusXM® with 360L
- Volkswagen Car-Net®
- Auto-dimming mirror
- Rain-sensing wipers with heated park and heated washer nozzles
Like all Tiguan models, the Wolfsburg Edition has standard IQ.DRIVE, the suite of safety and driver assistance technologies which includes:
- Travel Assist (semi-automated driving assistance)
- Front Assist (Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Monitoring)
- Active Side Assist (Blind Spot Monitor)
- Rear Traffic Alert
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Stop and Go
- Lane Assist (Lane Keeping System)
- Emergency Assist (semi-automated vehicle assistance in a medical emergency).
The Tiguan Wolfsburg Edition will have a starting MSRP of $30,995 for front-wheel drive and $32,495 for 4Motion® all-wheel drive. It is expected to be added to the Bud Brown Volkswagen inventory in early fall 2024.
