The Environmental Protection Agency just tested the new 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 electric vehicle for their fuel economy and range estimates. They came back with some very good news for us!

The EPA states that the estimated range for the 2021 ID.4 is around 250 miles on the 82 kHw rear-drive 1st Edition and Pro models.

Meanwhile, the EPA also estimated that the 2021 ID.4 fuel economy will be rated at 104 MPGe in the city; 89 MPGe on the highway; and a combined city/highway estimate of 97 MPGe.

Also, EPA’s calculations estimate that the annual “fuel” cost is just $700. This is based on the EPA’s calculations allowing for 13 centsper kilowatt-hour of electricity. Over a five-year period, the EPA estimates that ID.4 owners will save $2,250.

All of this translates into one thing: The 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 will be among the most efficient vehicles sold in America.

To help leverage your charging costs, ID.4 owners are offered three years of unlimited charging with Electrify America. They have the largest DC fast charging network with 470 stations across America. There are chargers available along the Interstate 70 corridor in Missouri and Kansas.
