ID.7 Trim Packages and Other Details
The launch of the 2025 ID.7 EV sedan is approaching, and Bud Brown Volkswagen is pleased to provide some additional details on this exciting new model and the second EV in the VW line.
Mirroring the vocabulary of the ID.4, the ID.7 will be offered in two trims—Pro S and Pro S Plus. All models will be equipped with an 82 kWh battery. Rear-wheel drive models will be rated at 282 horsepower and 402 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel-drive models will achieve a maximum horsepower of 335.
Standard features on all models include 19-inch wheels, front and rear illuminated logos, and power-folding mirrors outside. Though it has a sedan profile, the ID.7 is equipped with the convenience of a power-operated rear hatch. All models will also feature a 15-inch infotainment display and, almost unheard of as a standard model line feature: a head-up display that integrates augmented reality to assist in navigation instruction and critical alerts. There will also be a panoramic glass roof enhanced by electrochromic tinting and illuminated ambient décor. The driver and passenger will enjoy the comfort of 12-way adjustable heated front seats and the convenience of tri-zone automatic climate control.
The ID.7 comes standard with Volkswagen’s IQ.DRIVE® advanced driver assistance technology as a standard feature. This includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping ability, and the capability for automatic driver-initiated lane changes. The model also includes Park Distance Control, Park Assist Plus with Memory
Parking, and Area View for added safety and convenience.
Pro S Plus models add premium content, starting with riding on 20-inch wheels, behind which are DCC® adaptive damping and dynamic steering systems. The interior will add premium massage Climatronic seats with a new automatic heating and ventilation function. Music to the ears will come from a 700-watt Harman/KardonTM sound system boasting 14 speakers, including a front-center speaker and a trunk-mounted subwoofer.
The exterior colors have also been announced, including Mythos Black, Glacier White, Moonstone Grey, Aquamarine Blue, and Kings Red. There are two interior choices: Galaxy, which has a dark palette featuring black seats with white stitching, and Lunar, a lighter palette with gray seats and dark contrast stitching.
The 2025 ID.7 is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2024. The prices, range, and other details will be announced closer to the launch date. For all the latest updates on this innovative EV sedan, you can count on Bud Brown Volkswagen to announce it here on our blog.
