To qualify for the CPO program, the vehicle must pass a rigorous 100+ multi-point inspection of the engine, brakes, transmission, steering, and any noise, vibration, or harshness, along with any software updates that need to be performed to make the car run and operate optimally. 

Once a pre-owned VW has passed the inspection process and is proven to be free of any issues or defects, it will come with a comprehensive limited CPO warranty. For 2018 and 2019 model years, you will receive a 1-year, 12,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first. And for 2017, 2020, and newer Volkswagen models, it will have a 2-year, 24,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first. 

Along with the warranty, a CPO Volkswagen will have complimentary 2-year, 24-hour roadside assistance that, in case of an emergency, your vehicle will be towed to the closest licensed VW service center, as well as tire changes and battery jump starts.
