Unlike some SUVs out there, all trim levels of the Tiguan, including the base S model, can be optioned with the legendary 4Motion AWD system for just $1,500. The range-topping SEL R-Line Turbo comes standard with all-wheel drive. The EPA estimates that drivers will achieve 26 mpg city and 34 mpg highway in the base S, with the SE models getting 24 city and 31 highway. Models equipped with AWD will return 22 city and 30 highway.

Fantastic Standard Technology

Drivers will also appreciate the standard tech features, including a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro gauge cluster and the 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which are both standard. The SEL R-Line gets a 15-inch screen as standard. All models also get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a new 15-watt wireless charging pad with better ventilation, and four 45-watt USB-C charging ports.
