The 2025 Jetta Brings Refined Style and Greater Value
If you appreciate the German way of engineering, design, and general philosophy of automotive manufacturing, the Jetta is the only compact sedan to provide all that before entering the lofty prices of luxury brands. For 2025, VW ups the Jetta ante with revised exterior and interior styling, more standard features, and lower pricing, with a starting MSRP of just $21,995. It is a win on all fronts that you should see for yourself at Bud Brown Volkswagen.
Updated Exterior Inspired by GTI and Golf R
For 2025, the Jetta adopts the sporty appearance of the Golf line. This starts with a lower profile grille, revised LED headlights, and a more aggressive lower intake. Sport models add an LED light bar bridging the headlights. The side view features new 17-inch aluminum alloys for SE models and 18-inch alloys for SEL and GLI. Optional black-wheel packages are offered for SE and GLI. The rear features a new trunk lid with an LED light bar, creating a full-width tail light treatment for a refined, upscale appearance.
All-New Instrument Panel
Changes are even more significant in the cabin, which features an all-new dash design. The focal point for the cabin is the standard high-mounted 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Also standard across the model line is Climatronic® Touch automatic climate controls, which bring a sleek look to the center control stack. The SE models now include convenience features previously found in the higher SEL models, such as SiriusXM® satellite radio, voice control, wireless charging, and wireless App-Connect. The SE is also now available with a sunroof.
The comfort of cloth seats is standard on S models, with Sport models getting the embossed molekular cloth seats that first appeared on the GLI 40th Edition. SE models feature perforated, two-tone Microcloud leatherette seating surfaces, while the SEL is equipped with perforated Vienna leather. The GLI also features the new perforated Vienna leather seating surfaces in Grey/Red Crust/Titan Black with red contrast stitching alongside Magnum matte decor.
Sporty and Efficient Drivetrains are Retained
Jetta S, Sport, SE, and SEL models continue to be powered by the very efficient 1.5-liter, 158-hp turbocharged inline-4 paired with the 8-speed automatic transmission. In addition to sporty performance, it operates with an EPA-estimated efficiency of 29 in the city, and 41 on the highway.
Long thought of as the “GTI with a trunk,” the Jetta GLI lives up to the term with the GTI’s 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 that produces 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Increasingly rare these days, the GLI remains available with a six-speed manual gearbox. The two-pedal option remains performance-focused with the very quick-shifting 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Other performance features of the GLE include larger brakes, VAQ electronically-controlled torque-sensing limited-slip differential, with XDS® electronic differential lock, the DCC® adaptive damping system, and a unique sport exhaust system.
Standard IQ.DRIVE
All Jetta models come standard with Volkswagen’s IQ.DRIVE system of safety and driver assistance technologies that includes front and rear radar, a front camera, and several ultrasound sensors to enable features such as:
- Travel Assist (semi-automated driving assistance)
- Front Assist (Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Monitoring)
- Active Blind Spot Monitor
- Rear Traffic Alert
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Stop and Go;
- Lane Assist (Lane Keeping System)
- Emergency Assist (semi-automated vehicle assistance in a medical emergency).
The 2025 Jettas can be expected to be added to the Bud Brown Volkswagen inventory around early Fall. Like all new and certified models, it will come with the Bud Brown Advantage Lifetime Warranty.
