Pricing Announced for refreshed Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport Models
The Atlas and Atlas Sport models will receive a mid-cycle refresh for the 2024 model year which will include several high-end items added to the standard feature list. There will also be a drivetrain change and a new trim level model offered to the Atlas lineup. The starting MSRP for the 2024 Atlas will be $37,725, while the Atlas Cross Sport will start at $36,715. Both the 2024 Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport models can be expected to be added to the Bud Brown VW inventory in the early fall of 2023.
New Drivetrain for All Models
For the 2024 model year, both model lineups of the Atlas family will have all models powered by a new 2.0-liter turbocharged Inline-4 TSI® engine. Producing 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The power is similar to the previous VR6 engine but with a greater emphasis on torque, with a higher peak rating, and will be across a broader rpm range. Both acceleration and overall driveability will improve, as should fuel economy, though EPA estimated ratings are not yet available. All models will pair the engine to an 8-speed automatic. The 4Motion® all-wheel-drive system is either available or standard on all models.
Redesigned Interior
Both models will have a redesigned dash with a larger center touchscreen that is placed higher to minimize eye distraction. You will find premium surfaces throughout, including a leatherette-trimmed soft-touch dash and center console. The front-row door panel trim now flows seamlessly into the dash for a more elegant look. Upper-level trims now feature ambient lighting with 30 color choices to accompany an innovative backlit dash décor that features the model name. SEL Premium R-Line models feature diamond pattern quilted leather seating surfaces.
High-Level Standard Features
The Climatronic® automatic climate system is now standard on every Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport model. Other added interior standard features include ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The IQDRIVE suite of safety and driver assist features is also now standard on all trims of both model lines
Introducing the Atlas Peak Editions Models

Peak Edition trims have standard 4Motion all-wheel drive and off-road-themed trim throughout the interior and exterior. Details include unique wheels with all-terrain tires, body cladding elements, black-out exterior trim, unique interior color and decor, leatherette seating surfaces, and stainless steel pedal surfaces.
