Customer-Centric Convenience Reaches a New Height

Bud Brown Volkswagen is excited to announce the launch of the myVW app. Meant to put essential tools and information at your fingertips, the new app offers a host of owner-centric features, including service reminders and recommended maintenance schedules. In addition, you can set your preferred VW dealership (Bud Brown Volkswagen), schedule service appointments, and review your vehicle service history at certified VW dealers.

Remote Control

Alongside your vehicle’s available connected features, you’ll have five years of free access to available remote features and vehicle information when you activate VW Car-Net®. This feature includes remote start, if equipped, as well as lock/unlock, vehicle alerts, and passed parked location. Additionally, owners of VW ID.4 Electric vehicles can access different features upon VW Car-Net® activation, including remote battery charging, remote climate controls, and a charging station locator. You can also use the app to keep tabs on your car when someone else is driving. The vehicle alerts feature consent alerts regarding speed, curfew, valet, and boundaries.

A Few Pro-Tips

To use the remote features, you’ll need to go to the Vehicle Management setting under the Account tab to pair your phone to your Volkswagen vehicle. Once connected, always verify that you’ve received a “Success” message after initiating a remote command before beginning additional ones. Make sure to keep gas in the tank, as remote features shut off if the gas light goes on. If you experience any interruption with your remote features, try deleting the paired device and restarting the pairing process in the myVW app or contacting the Volkswagen Response Center at (833) 922-1292 for assistance.
