Volkswagen to Debut Three-Row ID. Buzz on First Ever International Volkswagen Bus Day

The first-ever ID. Buzz is part of Volkswagen’s ID all-electric family and features three rows of seats, specifically for the American market, as well as available All-Wheel Drive with 330 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. This electric homage to the original Volkswagen Microbus will certainly become a favorite of Microbus enthusiasts and families at Bud Brown Volkswagen in Olathe, KS. 

Classic styling with modern technology makes the 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz is as ground-breaking as the original VW Microbus it is based on. Driving around in the Kansas City area in the ID. Buzz, with its electric powerplant, will make you the talk of the town but also allow you to enjoy a quiet ride around town. 

Size & Power

The standard Rear-Wheel Drive 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz will feature a rear-mounted 91 kWh battery that produces 282 horsepower. Optional All-Wheel Drive gives you dual motors with 330 horsepower. The first of its kind ID. Buzz is plenty big enough for the whole family at 192.4 inches long, 77.9 inches wide, and 74.6 inches tall. Thanks to a 127.5-inch wheelbase, the ID. Buzz is afforded good legroom for third-row passengers. Volkswagen has introduced a very large sunroof that is 67.4 inches long and 40.8 inches wide, the biggest in their vehicle lineup, to allow for lots of natural light to fill the cabin and make it feel very open and comfortable for all occupants. The dual power sliding doors open all the way to the third row to allow for easier access.

Buzz will love the 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment display, as well as the 8 USB-C charging ports, a wireless charger, a 110V outlet under the passenger seat, and a 12V socket in the rear cargo area. With VW’s IQ.Drive system, you will experience a level-2 driver-assistance system, such as active lane-keep and adaptive cruise control. When driving in town, IQ.Drive on the ID. Buzz will alert the driver of speed limits, stop signs, and help you to know what’s around you. This includes a Head-Up Display system so you don’t have to take your eyes off the road.
