Coming Out in Style – Volkswagen 2025 Lineup Revealed
Volkswagen America has announced a complete update to the 2025 model lineup. 2024 saw significant changes to the Altas and the ID.4, and now, with the entire 2025 lineup getting an upgrade, the value of owning a new VW will be unmatched. One exciting component of this 2025 upgrade is the inclusion of an AI-powered voice assistant supported by ChatGPT. This cutting-edge technology is a complete game changer for vehicles on the market, allowing for convenience and technology-assisted features unlike ever before. If this is what you are looking for, Bud Brown Volkswagen is your destination for the future of automotive.Â
Massive Upgrades: Atlas and Atlas Sport Â
The 2024 Atlas models received notable upgrades to the interior and engine options. With the popularity of these changes to the top-selling Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport, it is no surprise that the models retained their status in the Volkswagen lineup for 2025. Both of these midsize SUVs are available in five different trims:
- Atlas – SE, SE w/Technology, Peak Edition SE w/Technology, SEL, and SEL Premium R-Line.Â
- Atlas Sport – SE, SE w/Techonology, SEL, all-new SEL R-Line Black, and SEL Premium R-Line.
Each trim has distinct characteristics that allow customers to personalize the look, technology, and feel of their Atlas or Atlas Sport. The Atlas Sport features an all-new trim level called SEL R-Line Black. The SEL R-Line Black is true to its name with blacked-out appointments and details. 20-inch black alloy wheels make a fierce statement, and the interior has high-quality materials to provide an aggressive final look to the Atlas Sport. Every trim level is packed with key features, many of which are standard, that enhance every drive. 15W wireless charging is available for convenience and connectivity. Light assist automatically increases driving visibility at night by engaging the high beams in certain low-light driving situations. At Premium trim levels, you will notice even more impressive upgrades in exterior design and included interior features. A gorgeous array of new colors are available in both the Atlas and Atlas Sport, including Mountain Lake Blue and Avocado Green. Another new compelling color, Pure Grey, is available only on the Atlas, excluding the Peak Edition trim.Â
ID.4 The All-Electric SUV
Each 2025 ID.4 model fitted with a 62-kWh battery will have a standard 12.9-inch display with backlit sliders. The S model features ventilated front-row seats to provide more comfort to the driver and front-seat passengers. A Black Package is available for the S and S Plus trims, featuring black door handles, 20-inch alloy wheels, black mirror caps, auto-dimming on the driver-side mirrors, and badging. The 2024 ID.4 SUV received enhancements that made the all-electric vehicle extremely desirable. In 2025, Volkswagen will release seven different trims for the ID.4:
- ID.4 StandardÂ
- ID.4 Pro
- ID.4 AWD Pro
- ID.4 S
- ID.4 Pro S
- ID.4 AWD Pro S
- ID.4 AWD Pro S Plus
The electric vehicle initiative is moving forward, so Volkswagen stepped up its game. For 2024, the 82-kWh battery models received an updated infotainment system and software, a rear electric motor that can produce 282-hp on rear-wheel-drive vehicles and 335-hp on all-wheel-drive models, and battery capabilities rated at an EPA-estimated 29 miles for the ID.4 Pro RWD Model.Â
ID.Buzz Electrifies the Crowds
A large iconic VW logo adorns the front of the all-new, all-electric ID.Buzz. Evoking the classic VW Bus of the 1970s, this EV pairs modern styling with clear notes of the retro microbus that we all know and love. The ID.Buzz will be available in the Pro S and Pro S Plus trims and will launch both 1st edition trims in rear-wheel drive or 4Motion® all-wheel drive options. This three-row, all-electric vehicle has plenty of room for up to six or seven passengers and all your cargo needs. Inside the ID.Buzz, you will enjoy a standard 12.9-inch touchscreen display and 30-color ambient lighting. The front and center rows have captain’s chairs beneath a panoramic glass roof. Set up your ultimate groovy playlist for the upgraded premium audio system, and stay focused on the road with a heads-up display. A flex board cargo system and an area view camera are also available for your convenience on the ID.Buzz. The standard 91-kWh battery is packed with power and torque for a fun ride on the 20-inch wheels. Choose from multiple exterior mono-color options or available tone-toned colors to make an impression in your ID.Buzz, that is expressly you.Â
Golf GTI and Golf R
The Golf GTI and Golf R trims have been a popular choice among the public for many years. In 2025, Volkswagen strives to make the Golf GTI and the Golf R even better. While a few hints of the excitement to come have been teased, definitive features and upgrades have not been established. As 2025 approaches, Volkswagen will release more details on what enhancements will be added to these two fan favorites, and Bud Brown VW will make sure you are among the first to know.
Jetta, Jetta GLI, Taos, and Tiguan Are Coming Soon
When it comes to the long-standing Jetta line, Volkswagen announced the 2025 models will also receive exciting upgrades to the standard trims with the complete package details to be released later this year. The compact Taos and Tiguan crossover model changes will also be released at a later date.Â
