2023 ID.4; The US-Built Volkswagen

We’re excited to announce one of the most prestigious German vehicle manufacturers, Volkswagen, is offering a US-built version of its first-ever EV for the American Market. Yes, we’re talking about the ID.4! This will happen for the model year 2023 and includes various features specially designed for US drivers.  

Volkswagen Chattanooga Assembly Plant has started producing its all-electric ID.4 SUV, with plans to deliver the first series of vehicles in October or November 2022. This local production is due to the growing demand for high-quality electric-driven vehicles within the US borders.  

The German automaker has already released some details on this US-built EV. But before talking about the 2023 ID.4 assembled in the US, let’s get to know the uniqueness of the 2022 ID.4:  

  • A fully electric crossover SUV with space for up to five passengers  
  • An estimated EPA range of up to 275 miles  
  • A refreshing design, comprehensive active-safety features  
  • An auto-hold feature for the parking brake  
  • A plug & charge compatibility to skip the payment step
