2017 Was a Big Year for Volkswagen

January 16th, 2018 by

Despite a few bumps in the road along the way, Volkswagen has been working exceptionally hard to become the number one automaker in the world, and 2017 was a very good year for that cause. Around the globe Volkswagen managed to sell 10.30 million vehicles, and we shared in a nice portion of those sales here at Bud Brown with great success of many of our special programs throughout the year.

Nearing the Head of the Pack

Volkswagen wasn’t the world’s largest automaker in 2017, but was very close along with Toyota. Both automakers were just behind the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance which managed to complete a total of 10.6 million auto sales around the world. With numbers right up at the top of the pack alongside a select few automakers, it’s clear that we offer a good solid product that customers are happy to continue purchasing year after year.

Pushing Ahead New Technologies

2017 was a year for research and development as well as for releasing brand-new products to the market. During 2017 more research than ever before was put into electric vehicle technology, and we’re looking forward to all the electric cars that are planned for release in the future. It was also the launch year for the new Atlas SUV, giving customers the choice for bigger and more capable SUVs under the reliable Volkswagen brand name.

Invest in Reliability

Volkswagen vehicles are known for their reliability, their beautiful finishes and excellent performance. It’s these three characteristics that help set them apart from competitors. We encourage people to come in to Bud Brown VW and check out some of our promotions that we have going throughout the year. We’re always offering special deals on new and pre-owned vehicles and want to help you get behind the wheel of the vehicle that’s going to bring you the most satisfaction in 2018. The new year just got going, but it’s already looking like it could be our best year yet!
