​​1.5 Millionth Electric VW ID. Delivered​

The vehicle was delivered from the VW plant in Emden, Germany, with Minister President of Lower Saxony Olaf Lies also in attendance.  

A Milestone to Behold 

The milestone vehicle was a brand-new, 2026 ID.7 Tourer Pro that Volkswagen says can travel more than 350 miles on a single charge. While the company currently offers the ID.4 crossover and ID.Buzz retro van in America, there are plans for an all-electric GTI model, as well as others.

The 2025 ID.4 

The 2025 ID.4 starts from $46,520 and recently got upgrades to its infotainment system and software in 2024. Buyers can choose between five different trim levels, including the Pro, AWD Pro, Pro S, AWD Pro S, and AWD Pro S Plus. All models feature a 12.9” touchscreen infotainment display, backlit sliders, and Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control. Each trim level offers an 82-kWh battery pack as standard, which produces either 282 horsepower in rear-wheel drive trims or 335 horsepower in all-wheel drive models.  

The standard Pro model has an EPA estimated range of 291 miles, with the top-of-the-line AWD Pro S Plus traveling 263 miles between charges. 

The 2025 ID.Buzz 

As a callback to the Volkswagen Microbus of yesteryear, the ID.Buzz is very popular with those who love nostalgia and technology, which makes it an excellent vehicle for the environment. Starting from $61,545 and available in Pro S, Pro S Plus, Pro S Plus with 4Motion®, 1st Edition, and 1st Edition with 4Motion®, the new van can charge from 10-80% in just 26 minutes with a 200kW charger, and also has up to 335 horsepower with more than 230 miles of range for all trims.
