I have nothing negative to say about Bud Brown. From the GM to the sales man to finance it was all a breeze. Chris M. is quite possibly the nicest and most patient salesmen I have ever met. He explains the car features very clearly and made me feel very welcome and comfortable in my car buying experience. Other salesman should learn from him, as other dealerships were extremely lacking in their customer service skills. Passat TDI purchase
I drove 3 hours to Kansas City after doing thorough research about the Volkswagen Passat TDI because the area had the highest volume of pre-owned Passats. By chance I visited Bud Brown Volkswagen. The dealership had a good inventory and I did find a Passat that met my needs. I had a very average sales interaction, but ultimately bought the vehicle because I knew what I was looking for. Missy was very attentive and considerate of our time and expedited the process to the best of her abilities. After driving off the lot and about 20 miles down the road, the check engine light came on. Needless to say, I was upset and somewhat concerned that I had made a bad choice in purchasing the Passat. I spoke to the Manager (Pete), who knew I had traveled to buy the Passat. He did not hesitate in getting me in a loaner vehicle and sending me on the road and back home. The service department fixed the issue with the Passat, and delivered the vehicle three hours away to my hometown. All in all, I would recommend Bud Brown Volkswagen to anyone who is in the market to purchase a new or used Volkswagen.

First experience for service and it was very unpleasant
We had to fight for assistance for everything from getting vehicle serviced to a loaner as promised when we bought the vehicle. Were told initially we would have to find a Nissan shop to service our vehicle (this was never explained to us when we bought the vehicle, and was told we would not be given a loaner while being serviced. When I explained I was angry I was told “not to sweat the small stuff”. Being told to find and deal with a shop which we have no relationship with and that we would not be without transportation due to no loaner, is not “small stuff” for us. In the end they had us bring them our vehicle and said they have a relationship with Nissan and would deal with them for us, and gave us a vehicle but we had to fight to get that help. This is how they should have handled it from the beginning to provide good customer service. Instead it was very stressful. I am in the market for a Beetle, but it won’t be here.

Missy was absolutely amazing couldn’t thank her enough for making us comfortable and things as easy as she could. Greatly appreciate her and her attitude towards her job. For Missy having been so fantastic, the guy who added the totals on my car was way off and not helpful in any manner made the experience 10 times worse, I would have left because of him only reason we didn’t was because of Missy’s support and the owner’s.

Bought new beetle convertible
Just bought a new beetle convertible and traded in my old one. This is the first vehicle I bought at Bud Brown and I was delighted with the experience. I had several VWs & have had them serviced at Bud Brown. I love their service department so it was a no brainer when it was time to buy. Sales staff is very knowledgeable, communicated with me when I reached out to them but were not pushy or aggressive.

Got me another Jetta!
I am an anxious car buyer and with my 2016 Jetta lease ending, I was all over the place trying to decide what to do. I liked my Jetta but my wife wasn’t happy with the seats. So we finally went Bud Brown (where I leased my Jetta) to test drive a 2019 Jetta. Melissa McConnell (sales) quickly put me at ease. I spoke with her before about my wife's hesitation and she made her feel at ease too. After sitting in a showroom car, we took a test drive. The seats were very comfortable and heated too! Bottom line is I moved up in model and down in payments!! And the whole experience with Melissa was so wonderful and personal, I had to give her a hug before leaving.

I purchased a VW Tiguan from Bud Brown 2 years ago. I was extremely satisfied with the experience. Last week my husband and I decided to buy a second Tiguan. I phoned Bud Brown, spoke with the manager Rick Pringle. Rick assured me that they had a wide selection of Tiguan's and he would take good care to make it a smooth trade. I arrived the next morning, met with Missy McConnell and to my delight, the three Tiguan's I was interested in were lined up in front of the dealership.
