I have nothing negative to say about Bud Brown. From the GM to the sales man to finance it was all a breeze. Chris M. is quite possibly the nicest and most patient salesmen I have ever met. He explains the car features very clearly and made me feel very welcome and comfortable in my car buying experience. Other salesman should learn from him, as other dealerships were extremely lacking in their customer service skills. Thank you Chris for also being so kind with my 6 year old daughter with offering her snacks and drinks and even a flower. You went above and beyond and it is appreciated!

Overall great experience
Shannon was great from the start. He always kept my wife and I updated on the status of the Tiguan we were wanting to purchase (it was a recent trade-in). 10/10 on communication from his part. Only dealt with Jerry for the closing part (45 min) but she was also great to deal with. She was a little persistent on us getting the 4 year service warranty but other than that she was very easy going and pleasant.

So far - so good.
i got recently a certified used passat and it was a great deal. the car is in a really good shape- they put new tires on it and fixing the few scratches on the body. it remains to be seen if they follow through with the warranty as they are supposed to. i have seen some negative reviews about it and i have seen some positive . i hope mine remains on the positive.

M.y salesman, Shannon Strong, was easy to work with. Not overly chatty, but friendly. Very knowledgeable about the vehicle options and very good in explaining all purchase details. I did have a wait to get everything finished up, but was at the end of the day on a Saturday, so to be expected. This is when Shannon came over and we were able to chat so I didn't have to just wait in the lobby all by myself. Actually the best car-buying experience I have had, Not the fastest, but this is mostly due to timing. It was the calmest and most comfortable I have felt about a car-buying decision

From start to finish my experience was great at Bud Brown. I called to check availability on a used car, made and appointment to see and test drive the next day. When I showed up the sales staff greeted me quickly and walked me to the car I was interested in. Upon inspection it was very clean and show car condition. Before I knew it I was on a test drive and then back at the dealership to do the paperwork. Within 2 hours I was driving down the road in my new (used) car. Full disclosure, I did not have a trade in to mess with, I was pre-approved for financing and the price on the vehicle (while a little high) was fair in my opinion for what I was getting so I saw no need to haggle.

Excellent...outstanding
The sales person listened to my needs and worked to meet those needs. I told him what I could afford, and he worked to get a car within my price range. Good Experience
I was able to look at and test drive several cars even though the weather was well below freezing. Shannon was flexible with my schedule and was pleasant to deal with. We ended up getting a good price for the Jetta we wanted and we even got some extras thrown in as part of the deal! Both Shannon and Jerry are very knowledgable about Volkswagens and I would buy from them again.

No pressure
I purchased a new 2016 Passat (SE Technology) from Bud Brown. I shopped around for a month and a half before picking out a car. Fair deal
Walked in early afternoon, walked out with a great new car. Great friendly sales representative, no hassle pricing, no gimmicks, switch and bait, unexplained add ons, etc. Documentation was simple and no high pressure for add ons. My sales representative Shannon Strong was very professional, answered all my questions. He stepped me through all the bells and whistles on the dash board, and did it so I understood.

My first Volkswagen experience was amazing!
My first time going to a Volkswagen dealership was a lot better than I thought it would be. Dealerships make me nervous in the first place and hate to be hounded. Bud Brown was nothing like that, I felt at ease and relaxed. It was my first time test driving a Volkswagen and a great one. Shannon was very helpful and knowledgable on each of the models of VW. He made it easy to fall in love with the golf! Casey made buying my golf fun, his geeky love for the VW and a long time owner of several different VW over the years was helpful in my decision. No one likes paper work or talking about the money part of buying a vehicle, but Chuck worked with me and understood that this was a big purchase for me and did not take it lightly. Everyone @ Bud Brown made me feel super comfortable and I would highly recommend them to anyone I know. You guys rock!!!

We went to Bud Brown after doing a lot of prior research on the car we wanted: a new 2-door GTI. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff at the dealership was on our side, offering quick, friendly service and giving us a great deal. As if that wasn't enough, our product specialist, Shannon Strong, even opted to personally drive to St. Louis and back on short notice to retrieve one of the few vehicles in the region that fit our bill. Would absolutely recommend buying a car here to anyone in town.

Dream car
I had been looking at GTI's for awhile now. I was working with the same salesman before Shannon and he just wasn't the Best guy to work with. He was completely clueless on everything. Any question I asked him, whether it was about the car or financing.. He had no idea. So once I started to talk to Shannon, it made me happy to finally be able to talk to someone who knew what they were doing and what they were talking about. He made this experience great! Best Volkswagen Dealership in Kansas or Missouri
Bud Brown has outstanding customer service. Everyone I dealt with from the Receptionist to the General Manager treated me with the utmost respect. BudBrown has a very large selection of Certified Pre-Owned inventory to choose from, so I was able to test drive three different certified Passat's. This much certified inventory was not common at the other VW dealerships I went to. Shannon Strong is the individual I worked most with in getting the deal done. I'm a very indecisive individual, I've been looking to purchase a car off and on for two years and Shannon made the experience easier on me. He was very knowledgable about each vehicle I test drove and was able to explain how the AutoWorld Certification works with Volkswagen. The certification was a key part for me, because I was purchasing a certified vehicle and some after market certifications don't cover much, but the AutoWorld covers basically everything but the wear and tear of the vehicle (very important). The negotiation was very quick and easy and I never felt like the dealership was taking advantage of me. They gave me $600 more than the other VW dealership offered for my trade in. If you are in the market for a VW, I highly recommend going to Bud Brown and speaking with Shannon Strong.

Awesome car buying dealer!!!
This was my first car buying from a dealer and I was looking for a car for awhile. When I found a good deal on AutoTrader app of a used 2012 Toyota Camry. I was pleased that I could find Shannon he was patient, helpful and friendly. He was one of the most patient sale person I ever had. He didn't push to buy the car like others have a tendency to do. Toby was really nice and really helpful understanding all the warranties and all that I had to deal with the car. Ever since I've had a follow up with Shannon how's everything going with the car. Passat TDI purchase
I drove 3 hours to Kansas City after doing thorough research about the Volkswagen Passat TDI because the area had the highest volume of pre-owned Passats. By chance I visited Bud Brown Volkswagen. The dealership had a good inventory and I did find a Passat that met my needs. I had a very average sales interaction, but ultimately bought the vehicle because I knew what I was looking for. Missy was very attentive and considerate of our time and expedited the process to the best of her abilities. After driving off the lot and about 20 miles down the road, the check engine light came on. Needless to say, I was upset and somewhat concerned that I had made a bad choice in purchasing the Passat. I spoke to the Manager (Pete), who knew I had traveled to buy the Passat. He did not hesitate in getting me in a loaner vehicle and sending me on the road and back home. The service department fixed the issue with the Passat, and delivered the vehicle three hours away to my hometown. All in all, I would recommend Bud Brown Volkswagen to anyone who is in the market to purchase a new or used Volkswagen.

Very Kind and Helpful
After moving to Kansas from California,I was anxious about having to establish a relationship with a new VW dealership. My worries quickly vanished after meeting with Chris and Missy. They were incredibly kind, funny and helpful in helping my husband and I navigate our lease end options. Finance was detailed, thoughtful and diligent in trying to get us the best rate (not an easy task). Service was wonderful with inspecting and cleaning up our 2017 jetta (which we ultimately purchased from our lease).
