2016 Volkswagen Eos

The Grand Finale for the Eos.

The Eos is the convertible from Volkswagen with a folding metal roof. On those days where the top has to be up, it is a coupe with solid handling and performance. Lower the roof and there is infinite headroom for the cruise with the sky above. With only a limited run planned for 2016, the Eos will be no longer available to experience this four-seat open-air experience.

When the top is up, the sky is still there. The Eos is the only folding hardtop convertible with a power sunroof. Therefore, the moon, the stars, and the sun are available without opening it up.

“We think you’ll find that the Eos is one of the best-designed convertibles on the market.” – Bent Halvorson, TheCarConnection.com

A 2.0liter TSI turbocharged engine powers the Eos. That is 200 horsepower of fun to be had wherever you take the Eos. It is connected to a 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission that gives the driver the option of a Sport mode to maximize driving enjoyment. The driver will also feel the road with its optional sport suspension.

Being a convertible, the Eos offers plenty of safety features to keep its occupants from harm’s way. An advanced safety cage locks everyone in from any force of collision, while an Automatic Rollover Response system assists when the roof is up or down. Every Eos gets anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-pressure distribution, six airbags and an Intelligent Crash Response System. Everything to ensure the Eos is one of the safest convertibles out there.

This year, the Eos comes with Car-Net. This is the connected car services suite from Volkswagen that assist when the Eos is involved in an accident, is stolen or for any other emergencies and services as needed anytime, every day.

The last Eos models will be available in one trim level: Komfort. Pricing starts at $31,995.

For a convertible with a folding hardtop, a sunroof, four seats and 200 horsepower, how could anyone not pass up such a driving experience? The Eos is the kind of car that will give everyone a thrill – with the top down or up.

As Kansas City’s source for Volkswagen, Bud Brown Volkswagen has plenty of Eos models to choose from.
